Objectives:
Identify risk factors for the spread of CWD and identify the spatial extent and frequency of the PRNP gene in 1xbet online sports betting White-tailed deer.
Progress and Results:
This is an add-on to the CWD study above, and is in progress. The cervid PRNP gene has been identified as a genetic marker for increased risk of infection by CWD. This study will use the same samples to quantify the prevalence and spatial distribution of the PRNP gene in white-tailed deer in 1xbet online sports betting prior to CWD becoming established in the state. My role will be to incorporate the results of genetic analyses into the GIS.
