But diversity and multiculturalism are so much broader than race alone (Anderson and Hall, 2015). As recent protests on campuses around the nation have moved institutions to make sweeping changes to campus climate issues, the role of culture centers is — and will be — at the forefront of many current and upcoming conversations (Somashekhar, 2015; "The Demands," 2016).
