Enrollment Status Time Chart

New Students/Admits are required to attendNew Student Orientation- You will meet virtually with your academic advisor who will help you plan your class schedule. Information will also be provided to prepare you for your first semester at K-State.

Registration Priority by Student Status:

• Athletics and Honors students are provided with priority time slots to accommodate unique schedule needs.
• Military affiliated student and families are provided registration at the beginning of each registration period for the term.

Military Affiliated Priorty Registration:

Kansas State University offers priority registration to military affiliated students and familes who have submitted the appropriate documentation. To be eligible for the priority registration, the student must have updated their student record in KSIS appropriately {refer to the Adding Military/Veteran affiliation in KSIS help page}.

Priority registration benefits students by giving early access to scheduled classes allowing students more time to complete their aid eligibility requirements and achieve timely program completion. Enrollment Appointments by Term:

All enrollment appointments are assigned and based off of the students' Academic Level {i.e., Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, etc...} and Cumulative Earned Hours {does not include Attempted or In-Progress Enrollment}.

Appointments are not assigned based on a students Projected Academic Level for the term of enrollment and are randomly assigned a date/time during the Enrollment period applicable to the students' Academic Level.
