Doctoral student receives Rising Star Award from Leadership Greater Topeka
Susana Maria Ortiz, Kansas State University doctoral student in counseling and supervision, is the recipient of the Rising Star Award sponsored by Leadership Greater Topeka.
Ortiz serves as a board member of numerous professional and nonprofit organizations in the community, including the Topeka Latino Professionals Association. She has degrees from Kansas State University and Emporia State University and serves as an instructor of counselor education at Emporia State University.
