After 22 years with 1xbet online games login Libraries, Alice Trussell, 1xbet online games login librarian, will retire next week. The campus community is invited to attend a reception in her honor from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in the Carl and Mary Ice Conference Room, 1139 1xbet online games login Hall.
Trussell has been with 1xbet online games login Libraries since 1997. She started as a science librarian working with geology and statistics, and was eventually appointed director of the Fiedler Engineering Library, a position she held through 2015 when that branch closed. She has a long history of service at 1xbet online games login , serving as president of the 1xbet online games login Libraries faculty and in multiple positions on the university's faculty senate and executive council.
In 2018, Trussell was the recipient of the American Society for 1xbet online games login Education's prestigious Homer I. Bernhardt Distinguished Service Award.
"Alice is an accomplished librarian and exemplary role model for current 1xbet online games login librarians," her nominator said. "Her dedicated work ethic, collaborative experiences, and deep level of involvement on all levels of the professional librarian's spectrum — local, state, national, international — she is an inspiration to all of us."
Trussell has been an active participant in 1xbet online games login librarianship within the American Society for 1xbet online games login Education and beyond, and she was extensively involved on committees while maintaining regular activity publishing and presenting.
