The search committee for the next director of the Johnson 1xbet sports betting Research Center announces the interview schedule for candidate Linda Malkas, dean of translational science and external affairs at the City of Hope Beckman Research Institute in Duarte, California.
Malkas will visit 1xbet sports betting Thursday, Jan. 31, and Friday, Feb. 1. She will present a talk on her research and her vision for the future of the cancer research center at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in 227 1xbet sports betting Student Union. Malkasholds the rank of professor of molecular and cellular biology and has previously served as both associate director for basic science and deputy director, research at the City of Hope NCI-designated Comprehensive 1xbet sports betting Center.
Her research spans basic studies on proteins involved in DNA replication in human cells, mechanisms of action of anticancer agents that affect DNA synthesis, identification of novel biomarkers for 1xbet sports betting risk, and translational work to identify new molecular therapeutics for 1xbet sports betting . Her current research is funded by the American 1xbet sports betting Society, the Department of Defense, and several private foundations. She serves on advisory committees and review panels for the Federal government as well as journal editorial boards and advisory committees for other 1xbet sports betting centers.
