K-State has been selected to participate in the Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering 1xbet online casino March 24-27 at the American Association for the Advancement of 1xbet online casino , or AAAS, headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Funds supplied by the 1xbet online casino School, Office of the Vice President for Research, and the Office of Governmental Relations will sponsor two 1xbet online casino students to attend the workshop.
A coalition of scientific and engineering societies, universities, advocacy organizations and academic organizations has created this exciting opportunity for upper-class undergraduate and 1xbet online casino students in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines to learn about science policy and advocacy.
The 1xbet online casino program is open to universities or professional scientific or engineering societies that would like to provide an opportunity for their students to come to Washington, D.C., and learn about science policy.
Students who are selected by their institution to participate in the 1xbet online casino will spend a few days learning about the structure and organization of Congress, the federal budget and appropriations process, and tools for effective science communication and civic engagement.
Nominations: The 1xbet online casino School is accepting nominations for two 1xbet online casino students in STEM-related fields to attend the workshop. To nominate a student, the 1xbet online casino program director or department chair must provide a short — approximately 100 words — paragraph on why they are nominating the student. The student also must provide a short — approximately 100 word — paragraph addressing why he or she would like to attend the workshop, what they expect to gain from the experience, and how it would fit into their career plans, as well as a short CV.
