K-State is the first operational land-grant university in the nation. In the tradition of "1xbet online casino Firsts," we will celebrate K-State's first African-American graduate, George Washington Owens. Owens arrived at the 1xbet online casino State Agricultural College in 1896 and established himself as one of our most accomplished students and alumni. His inspiring story will be shared by Jed Dunham, Division of Communications and Marketing.
Jana Fallin, director of the Teaching and Learning Center, will present interesting facts about the state song, "Home on the Range."
At the event, attendees also will be able register to win a door prize: an original glass art piece of a sunflower, the state flower.
