Lauren W. Ritterbush, associate professor of archaeology,and co-authors Jakob Hanschu, junior in anthropology and geography, and Brad Logan, research associate professor, presented "Archaeological Evaluation of a Prehistoric Mound in Riley County, Kansas." This research is based on initial data recovery completed as part of the 2016 Kansas Archaeological Field School.
Hanschu also presented his independent research "Spatial Patterning of Prehistoric Burial Mounds in Northeastern Kansas."
