K-State geographer to discuss making nature accessible to urban dwellers
Francesco Orsi, assistant professor of geography, will present "Access to Nature in Urban Areas"at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in 231Ackert Hall. Orsi will explore issues associated with making nature accessible to urban dwellers, show the importance of having nature nearby and ways in which nature can be brought closer to people.
