Capriccio Stipa, Stipa Lessingiana
This grass has a very fine texture and flowing look to it. The plot that was grown in the annual flower trial received water each week and fertilizer every 2 weeks (i.e. higher maintenance plan) and it’s evident that that made a difference. Keeps some winter interest.
The second year of trialing this grass produced similar results. It did not flourish, but does provide some interesting texture. The plants grown at the 1xbet sports betting Research station in Hays, KS looked much better, and clearly preferred the soil and climate of that area over Olathe.
