Faculty, staff, and students interested in science communication are invited to a meeting of the Kansas Science Communication Initiativefrom 5-7 p.m.Sept. 20 at JP's Sports Grill at Jardine. Meet others involved in the group, sign up for working groups for 2018-19, and hear a surprise announcement. Light refreshments will be provided.
The initiative is in its second year. Last year, the group hosted a successful Science Communication Week with attendance of more than 1,000 at its events. We're planning a second Science Communication Week Nov. 5-10 plus a series of lunchtime workshops during the 2018-19 academic year. Now is a great time to get involved!
