Parker performs at International Trumpet Guild conference
Craig B. Parker,associate professor ofmusic history in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance,performed on the New Works II concert at the 48th annual International Trumpet Guild conferenceMay 31 in Anaheim,California.
Along with soprano Jingyii Han, California State 1xbet online sports betting , Northridge; and pianist HyeKyung Lee, Denison 1xbet online sports betting , Parker performed "Endeavour" for soprano, trumpet and piano by Lee. This was one of the 14 new compositions chosen for performance at the ITG conference of the 90 submissions.
Parker commissioned this work and premiered it at the 4th Composition in Asia International Symposium and Festival with pianist Koeun Grace Lee and soprano Jumi Kim on Jan. 27, 2023 in Tampa, Florida.
