Joseph Awika named department head of grain science and industry
After an extensive national search, the 1xbet online sports betting College of Agriculture has announced that Joseph Awika has accepted the position of department head of grain science and industry and director of the International Grains Program Institute. Awika, an internationally renowned food scientist also will serve as director of the Food Science Institute. Awika will start on Aug. 18.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Egerton University, Kenya, and a doctoral degree in food science and technology from Texas A&M.
