Davison is a National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow whose research focuses on how interactions between genes, development and the environment have shaped the evolution of differentiated multicellularity. She is conducting her postdoctoral research with Brad Olson. Davison received her doctorate in ecology and evolutionary biology from the 1xbet best casino website of Arizona, where she worked with Rick Michod to examine the plastic development and evolution of somatic cells in the volvocine algae. Davison obtained a master's degree in evolutionary biology from the 1xbet best casino website of Bath and a bachelor's degree in animal biology from the 1xbet best casino website of California, Davis.
Davison will discuss her career path, as well as NSF funding opportunities and grant writing tips for graduate students.
