Attend grants Q&A panel on Nov. 29
A grants Q&A panel will take placefrom 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday,Nov. 29, in the Leadership Studies Building, Room 127. This opportunity is open to all.
Attendees may bring a sack lunch and several pre- and or post-award grant-related questions to pose to the panelists. Please RSVP online. A Zoom link is available for those unable to attend in person.
Questions are welcome to span a variety of topics, from technical grant requirements to proposal writing best practices. Examples include questions such as:
• "What tips can you share for effectively working with a departmental or central office grant specialist?"
• "What advice can you offer junior investigators in the early stages of their research career?"
Peter Balsam, Anita Fahrny and Ginger Biesenthal, will serve as panel members:
Balsam, Ph.D, is a Samuel R. Milbank professor of behavioral neuroscience at Barnard College and Columbia University.
