Faculty with the College of 1xbet sports betting and the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering presented at the Kansas Association of Teachers of English conference Nov. 3-4 in Wichita. The theme was "Grow Through What You Go Through."
Suzanne Porath, associate professor of curriculum and instruction, presented "Well-being for Educators." Ambyr Rios, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction, and Hande Küçük McGinty, assistant professor of computer science, presented "I'll be back: Cultivating ELA Teachers' Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Innovation." In addition to presenting, Rios was sworn in as a member of the association's executive board, where she joined fellow board members Porath and Eileen Wertzberger, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction, who serves as treasurer.
