The Chapman Center for Rural Studies, a center of excellence in the College of Arts and Sciences, calls for pre-proposals for its fifth annual Interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino Grant. The deadline for pre-applications is Friday, Oct. 27.
The center is seeking proposals from faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences to foster interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino engaging with rural communities.
Successful faculty teams will receive the following:

- Up to four paid undergraduate 1xbet online casino assistants.
- Administrative support.
- Communication and media support.
- Student mentorship, professionalization support and student 1xbet online casino space.
- Technical, software and hardware support.
- Advisory and administrative support.
The purpose of this grant is to encourage faculty to work creatively and collaboratively with scholars outside of their specializations to pursue scholarly and/or creative work that centers on the Great Plains. While one faculty member must have a tenure home in the College of Arts and Sciences, collaboration with faculty across departments and colleges is encouraged. Proposals are welcome from a range of disciplines exploring any aspect of Great Plains life, including economies, social structures, health outcomes, education, transportation, politics, community identity and memory, demographics and/or the environment, among others. We especially value proposals that engage K-State 105 and address Imperative 3 — provide applied learning experiences for K-State students; Imperative 4 — grow interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino ; and Imperative 7 — are positive a force for Kansans, in the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan. Chapman Center Interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino Grants are limited to one year and ideally will lead to longer, externally funded initiatives.
The center is nationally recognized for instruction and publication in the digital humanities. The findings of the Interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino Grant teams are expected to be made available to a wide audience through a peer-reviewed online journal such as the Online Journal for Rural 1xbet online casino and Policy in the Chapman Center for Rural Studies.
Finally, the Chapman Center for Rural Studies is an award-winning center for public engagement and engaged student 1xbet online casino experiences. Proposals for the Interdisciplinary 1xbet online casino Grant should reflect this commitment with a clearly stated pathway for broader impact among rural communities and opportunities for undergraduate 1xbet online casino experiences. Preference will be given to projects that engage and collaborate with rural stakeholders and include undergraduate 1xbet online casino .

Pre-proposals should be submitted to chapmancenter@k-state.edu by Oct. 27 for consideration. Finalists will be chosen by Dec. 31. Finalists will be asked for a full proposal leading to an interview in January 2024. Award dates for this cycle can begin February 2024-June 2024.
