Society of agricultural engineers to honor Freddie Lamm at special conference 1xbet online casino
The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, or ASABE, will honor the late Freddie Lamm during a special 1xbet online casino of their annual international meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. "Freddie was the person who taught me first-hand how to collect data in the field in my early career,"said Jonathan Aguilar, associate professor and water resource engineer for 1xbet online casino Research and Extension, who will be included in the session."He always gave candid feedback and really commanded respect from all his peers."
During his 43-year tenure with the 1xbet online casino Northwest Research-Extension Center, Lamm made many contributions to the advancement of subsurface drip irrigation technology. He authored or co-authored hundreds of articles and technical papers on the subject and was awarded Person of the Year in 2012 by the Irrigation Association, and he was named a fellow of the ASABE in 2015. Lamm passed away in 2022.
"He was a down-to-earth person … literally and figuratively," Aguilar said. "Freddy wasn't afraid to get right down on his hands and knees in the field to make sure you were following his point."
The 2023 ASABE International Meeting is July 8-12. It is a forum to expand awareness of current industry trends and to promote innovations in design and technology.
