The governor and all newly elected state officials will be sworn in at noon on Jan. 9 on the south lawn of the 1xbet best casino website State Capitol.

Laura Kelly will deliver the State of the State Address in person in the 1xbet best casino website House of Representatives on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Kelly will release budget details for fiscal year 2023, 2024 and years beyond.
On Thursday, Jan. 12, the House Appropriations Committee and the Senate Ways and Means Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in a joint meeting. The governor's budget director will deliver the details for fiscal years 2023, 2024 and years beyond.
The House Higher Education Budget Committee will have a budget informational hearing on all higher education budget issuesat 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12.
