New exhibit on student activism in Hale Library
A new exhibit on the fifth floor of Hale Library, "Taking a Stand: Student Activism at 1xbet online sports betting ," showcases materials from the Richard L. D. and Marjorie J. Morse Department of Special Collections at 1xbet online sports betting Libraries to highlight a cross-section of the history of student activism at Kansas State University.
In each exhibit case, find stories of students working with their peers, staff, faculty, alumni and Manhattan residents to affect change in their communities. Whether it be a one-time protest for or against a guest speaker, an annual march to demonstrate solidarity with a marginalized group or a decadeslong battle that is still ongoing, 1xbet online sports betting students have often included activism alongside their coursework and social activities. Through this exhibit, we seek to connect modern movements to their historical precedents, inspiring a new generation of student activists.
The curation of this exhibit was led by digital resources archivist Irina Rogova, with curatorial and research assistance from Challen Wright, former metadata librarian, Carol Sevin, academic services librarian, and Veronica Denison, former 1xbet online sports betting archivist.
