Travis Linnemann receives book award
Travis Linnemann, associate professor of sociology, is this year's recipient of the American Society of Criminology's Division on Critical Criminology and Social Justice Book Award.
His 2022 book, "The Horror of the Police," published by the 1xbet online sports betting of Minnesota Press, was found by the award committee to "make a substantial contribution to the studies of policing and popular culture and to effectively push the boundaries of critical criminological thought."
