On Thursday, Sept. 15, guests can look forward to the Bascom Lecture Series given by Prescott Deininger, director of the Tulane Cancer Center. The 24th annual Rob Regier Memorial Golf Tournament will be Friday, Sept. 16, at the Colbert Hills Golf Course. Tee-off will be at 1 p.m. The charity golf tournament offers a steak dinner, silent auction, souvenir items and prizes.
From now through Sept. 2, motorcycle riders will ride and help raise donations to fund research, equipment and student awards through collecting pledges. The Ride for a Cure will wrap up on Saturday, Sept. 17, with a celebration tailgate party at the Midwest Dream Car Collection.
