Kurt Foley passes certified demand-side manager exam

Submitted by David A. Carter

Kurt Foley, 1xbet sports betting specialist with the Kansas 1xbet sports betting Program in K-State Engineering Extension, recently passed the exam to become a certified demand-side manager. Foley becomes the first member of the Kansas 1xbet sports betting Program to earn this credential and is one of approximately 600 certified demand-side manager professionals certified by the Association of 1xbet sports betting Engineers.

The Kansas 1xbet sports betting Program works with 1xbet sports betting professionals on various 1xbet sports betting -related topics and having this widely recognized credential as part of the program’s portfolio increases the trust and confidence other 1xbet sports betting organizations have in the services the program provides.

Demand-side management programs save 1xbet sports betting and reduce peak electricity demand and are frequently used by utilities to help customers save on 1xbet sports betting costs and reduce demand impacts. Demand response programs are a type of demand-side management implemented to reduce customer demand, particularly during times of heavy system demand or emergencies.

Foley first joined the Kansas 1xbet sports betting Program in November 2019 as a student working on a Master of Science in environmental policy and management, along with a graduate certificate in 1xbet sports betting and sustainability. In June 2020, he became a full-time employee. In this short time, he has now passed the certified 1xbet sports betting manager exam, the certified measurement and verification professional exam, and the certified demand-side manager exam.

"Kurt is just a phenomenal person and a dedicated 1xbet sports betting professional," said David Carter, director of the Kansas 1xbet sports betting Program. "These exams are incredibly difficult, and he is now the first person within Engineering Extension to pass three of these exams in a short period of time."
