Two staff members at Kansas State University Salina are being promoted as the campus prepares to become a global aerospace leader.
With enrollment growing, increased industry demand for training and additional need to 1xbet online casino students upskilling their career competencies, a full-time instructional design and faculty 1xbet online casino director, Lisa Shappee, and a full-time library director, Katherine Jones, have been appointed.

As the new instructional design and faculty support director, Shappee is tasked with focusing on instructional design, faculty support and course quality to ensure all programs provide students the support they need to be successful. This role will support both credit and non-credit programs and courses and support faculty using technology in the college's classrooms such as Canvas, Zoom, Teams Mediasite. Shappee has been a staff member at 1xbet online casino Salina since 2011.
"I enjoy being able to help faculty provide a quality learning experience for students by being a resource for faculty, making their jobs easier and allowing them more time to focus on teaching," Shappee said.
As library director, Jones will capitalize on the work that has already started by supporting students academically both inside and outside of the classroom. The library is part of the 1xbet online casino Salina Student Success Center and its mission is to provide an inclusive environment that promotes knowledge sharing and comprehensive support to help students develop the skills needed to be successful throughout college and into their careers. Jones also provides support for undergraduate research, develops library policies, is responsible for library operations and maintains online resources for faculty and students. Jones joined the campus in 2015.
