Anthropology program announces student awards and scholarships
The anthropology program, in the sociology, anthropology, and social work department in the College of Arts and Sciences, awarded thousands of dollars in awards and scholarships to current and graduating students this academic year.
The following are winners of the 2021 anthropology awards:
- Julia Coverdale, Patricia J. O'Brien Scholarship Award in Archaeology.
- Alexander Wilson, Biological Anthropology Achievement Award.
- Maria Apel and Kayla Craigmile, Cultural Anthropology Achievement Award.
- Avery Williams, Mike Finnegan Award in Physical Anthropology.
- Cody Skahan, Ibn Battuta Prize.
