The Safe Zone program, in the Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs, invites anyone who has completed a Safe Zone introductory workshop to take the Safe Zone advanced workshop, "He 1xbet online casino , She 1xbet online casino , They 1xbet online casino : A Dialogue on Sexual Assault Myths and Misconceptions," with the Center for Advocacy, Response and Education from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, via Zoom.

Sexual assault has long been considered a public health issue within society; yet most often, information discussed indicates a lack of understanding about consent and that sexual assaults are viewed, at least partially, as the survivor's fault. Such attitudes create a lack of confidence in reporting which may contribute to further inaccuracies being touted as truths. This dialogue will challenge common sexual assault myths and misconceptions, false reporting and rape culture. The presentation is intended for participants who have previously attended an advanced Safe Zone workshop with CARE on the topic of sexual violence, intimate partner violence or digital harassment.

Register for the April 28 advanced Safe Zone workshop.

Safe Zone continues to be part of Kansas State University's efforts to create an open and affirming campus since the 1970s. Safe Zone was created to help those facing sexual orientation discrimination. Revitalization of the initiative in 2002 created a more comprehensive and ever-evolving Safe Zone effort to fit the needs of current 1xbet online casino community members. Allies become educated to help those coming from a variety of backgrounds and identities with needs concerning exclusionary acts like intimidation, micro- and macro-aggressions, discrimination, LGBTQ-related concerns or sexual violence.
