The Kansas Legislature enters the fifth week of the session. Beginning this week and over the next two weeks, the Legislature will turn its attention to budget hearings, review and recommendations for the FY 2022 budget.

On Monday, Feb. 8, the Senate Higher Education Subcommittee of the Ways and Means Committee held a hearing on the governor's budget recommendations for state universities, community colleges, technical colleges and Board of Regents.
