Benefits highlight: HealthyKids program

TheHealthyKIDS program helps eligible employees cover the cost of premiums for their children enrolled in the State Employee Health Plan. To see if you qualify, check theHealthyKIDS program flyer.
Eligible employees can apply forHealthyKIDSwhile enrolling in 2020 coverage through theState Employee Health Plan Membership Administrative Portal.
Enroll in the State Employee Health Plan by following these instructions:
- Log intoHRIS.
- Navigate toEmployee Self Service.
- SelectBenefits.
- SelectHealth Insurance Enrollment.
- You may need to re-enter youreIDandpassword.
- SelectKansas State Universityfrom the dropdown box.
- Once logged in to the MAP portal,Add Family Member, if applicable.
- Loadsupporting documents, if applicable.
- SelectEnrollments & Events, thenLaunch Enrollment.
- Make your health insurance selections for coverage.
- Review and select the "I have read and agree..." statement checkbox.
- SelectContinue.
- You must print a copy of your health insurance coverage selections for your records (Ctrl+P).
- Log outof the MAP portal.

At the time you apply online, you will be informed whether or not you qualify. If approved, your premiums for coverage of your dependent children will be adjusted based upon the current HealthyKIDS contributions.
