Steve LaFever to retire Jan. 24
Steve LaFever, chief audit executive, will retire from Kansas State 1xbet online sports betting effective Jan. 24.
LaFever has served as the director of Internal Audit since 2014. Some of his accomplishments at 1xbet online sports betting include expanding campus awareness of ethical and internal control issues and developing the annual audit plan based on a formalized audit risk assessment.
LaFever has more than 35 years of experience in higher education in the areas of audit and finance. Before coming to 1xbet online sports betting , he worked at Wichita State University for 17 years as controller and then as director of financial reporting, financial data analysis and investments. He also had positions at Missouri Southern State College, University of Central Florida and Tomlinson College. He began his career in public accounting and is a certified public accountant.
The campus community is invited to honor LaFever's service to 1xbet online sports betting at a retirement reception from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Barrett Wildcat Den at the 1xbet online sports betting Alumni Center. Formal remarks will begin at 2:30 p.m.
