The Department of Environmental Health and Safety is continuing to offer sessions of Hazardous Waste Awareness Training, WTD080.
All sessions are in 11 Edwards Hall on the following dates and times:9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020;10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020; 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020; and11 a.m. to noonFriday, April 10, 2020.
The intended audience is individuals responsible for hazardous waste management, specifically forresearchers and employees who generate the waste material andwhose responsibility continues through the transportation and disposal process. This training emphasizes the importance of properly identifying, handling and disposing of all hazardous wastes.
There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials.
