Panfilwill talk about some of the research she does involving decision-making.While individual choices may seem small and inconsequential, research shows that poor decision-making can accumulate to produce big problems like substance abuse, gambling and obesity. Working with rats,Panfil's research focuses on everyday choices. More specifically, she is interested in studying impulsivity related to ADHD and ADHD medication, as well as how hormones can affect our choices. The event will include short activities and discussion about what might lead us to make bad choices and how we can improve our decision-making skills.
