College of Arts and Sciences announces Stamey and Gaches 1xbet online casino and Advising Award winners

The College of Arts and Sciences has announced the 2019 winners of the William L. Stamey Awards for undergraduate 1xbet online casino and advising, as well as the winners of the Ronald N. Gaches 1xbet online casino Awards. All awardees are being recognized for outstanding 1xbet online casino and/or advising practices within the college.

Recipients of the William L. Stamey Awards for undergraduate 1xbet online casino /advising:

  • Alina De La Mota-Peynado, 1xbet online casino assistant professor of biology, Stamey Undergraduate 1xbet online casino Award.
  • Alissandra Stoyan, assistant professor of political science, Stamey Undergraduate 1xbet online casino Award.
  • Eve McCulloch, 1xbet online casino assistant professor/advisor, biology, Stamey Advising Award.
  • Tucker Jones, graduate student in psychological sciences, Stamey GTA 1xbet online casino Award.

William L. Stamey is a mathematician and served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for 17 years from 1970-1987. In recognition of Stamey's outstanding record in recruiting excellent faculty to Kansas State University and in recognition of the continuing need to foster excellence in 1xbet online casino and advising, the College of Arts and Sciences established the Stamey Awards.

The college established the Ronald N. Gaches awards to acknowledge ongoing excellence in undergraduate 1xbet online casino , as well as 1xbet online casino innovations that improve pedagogical practices within the college and will present two such awards this year:

  • Steffi Dippold, associate professor of English, Gaches Undergraduate 1xbet online casino Award.
  • Carolyn Ferguson, professor of biology, Gaches Lifetime 1xbet online casino Award.

Gaches is the former chair of the Arts and Sciences Alumni Advisory Council and a veteran lobbyist with more than 35 years of experience in government relations, public affairs and association management. His clients have included the largest private sector firms in Kansas, including Boeing, Pizza Hut, Sprint and Atmos Energy. Gaches' management experience includes service on the staff of the largest agriculture and business associations in Kansas, 16 years as executive director of the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers, as well as extensive experience as a volunteer and consultant with local chambers of commerce, professional societies and trade associations.

The awardees will be recognized during the Arts and Sciences commencement ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Bramlage Coliseum.
