Brent Holliday, assistant director of education abroad, nominated Boro for this award because of the phenomenal work she has done with both incoming exchange and outgoing students. She has been integral in developing methods to better ensure the incoming exchange students transition to 1xbet online sports betting well.
"Exchange students have the same challenges as local students, but they also have to adjust through language difficulties, homesickness and cultural differences," Holliday said. "Sara provides advising webinars before the students arrive on campus to assist with the application and course selection process, she meets them when they arrive and provides an orientation on campus to help the students feel welcome and connected to others at 1xbet online sports betting , and she checks in throughout their semester to ensure that they are receiving the academic, student life, or emotional support they need."
In addition to working with incoming exchange students, Boro was also key in developing a First Time Travelers Workshop. This workshop helps to ease the fears and anxieties of 1xbet online sports betting students going abroad for the first time.Boro also coordinated the Funding Education Abroad Week event, which offers sessions to help students prepare financially for going abroad.
