New publishing options for 1xbet sports betting faculty, information sessions offered April 23

Faculty and researchers are invited to two sessions on Tuesday, April 23, to learn more.
Joyce Harrison, editor in chief at the University Press of Kansas, will give a presentation on publishing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. April 23 in the Purple Pride Conference Room at the 1xbet sports betting Alumni Center. It will cover topics such as finding publishers that match your project, preparing an effective cover letter, the elements of a strong proposal, author etiquette and working with your publisher. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Harrison also will be available to meet with faculty from 1:30-5 p.m. April 23 in the Kansas State Bank Conference Room at the 1xbet sports betting Alumni Center. She can discuss your work in progress or your book idea and offer publishing advice, regardless of whether your project is a fit for UPK’s publishing program.
