Reminder: Applications due Friday for Graduate Student Writing 1xbet sports betting
Applications are dueby 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, for this year's Graduate Student Writing 1xbet sports betting , sponsored by the Writing Center, English department and Graduate School.
The 1xbet sports betting 's purpose is twofold. First, graduate students across the disciplines will be given time and space to write in a supportive atmosphere, among other writers. A second goal is to promote effective writing practices and to boost the dissertation- and thesis-writing process, thereby reducing time to graduation. All master's and doctoral students working on a significant writing project — dissertation, thesis, article for publication — are welcome to apply.
The Writing 1xbet sports betting will take place over seven days, utilizing a combination of half and full days. Please visit the Graduate School's website for a complete schedule. Participants should expect to write for between three and five hours each day of the 1xbet sports betting . Participants should also expect to briefly reflect on their goals and progress with their peers. Eligibility
Certain requirements must be met in order to participate:
- Applicants must commit to being present for the entirety of the 1xbet sports betting ; we take this policy seriously! Absences affect the community of the writing group and are distracting to participants. Those accepted must sign a 1xbet sports betting Contract indicating their availability for the entirety of each day, including morning check-ins with peers, all writing sessions, and completion of the post-1xbet sports betting survey on the final day. If you have other commitments, however small, that would require you to miss any portion of the 1xbet sports betting , you are not eligible to participate.
- Applicants must be working on a significant writing project — thesis, dissertation, article for publication.
- Applicants must have completed source collection, collected data/completed their proposed work, and be ready to concentrate solely on writing during the 1xbet sports betting . The stage of writing you are at might differ depending on your discipline. As Internet use is prohibited during the 1xbet sports betting , you should be at a point where you can write from the data or research you have already collected.
- Applicants should be those who are in a position to spend the 1xbet sports betting writing. Center staff do not teach editing during the 1xbet sports betting and will not be able to edit/proofread documents for participants.
- The graduate student's advisor must consent to the student's participation in the 1xbet sports betting , by completing an Advisor Consent Form. A summary of participation and attendance will be sent to the advisor at the end of the 1xbet sports betting .
- Applicants must be in good standing with their programs.
- Applicants who are accepted to participate in the 1xbet sports betting must submit their 1xbet sports betting fee by noon on Wednesday, April 24. We encourage applicants to talk with their advisors about sponsorship for the program; several past applicants have had the 1xbet sports betting fee sponsored by their programs.
- Participants who have completed prior retreats are eligible to re-apply.
Participant selection

A committee appointed by the Graduate School will select 15-20 individuals to participate in the 1xbet sports betting . The committee aims to select participants who represent a broad set of disciplines. These applicants will be those who are prepared to use the time to write, rather than to research or to solicit proofreading/editing feedback on their writing. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance no later than Friday, April 19, and their nonrefundable fee will be due by noon on Wednesday, April 24.
