She had her first internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2016, working on the ChemCam instrument on Curiosity. Lamm returned to Los Alamos the following two summers before starting graduate school.
Lamm is still working with Curiosity at Northern Arizona University where she is pursuing a doctorate planetary science.
