The Higher Education Industry Outlook focus this year was on graduate studies, specifically on the way graduate schools in Kansas and Missouri can interact with the community, especially the business community. Co-chairing the assembly were Carol Shanklin, dean of Kansas State University Graduate School, and George Justice, dean from the University of Missouri at Columbia, whose respective institutions sponsored the industry outlook.
