Retirement reception for Brenda Schaffer
Brenda Schaffer, a grant specialist with the Center for Hazardous Substance Research, will be honored with a retirement receptionfrom 3-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, in the Carl and Mary Ice reception center at the engineering complex on campus. A short program will begin at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Schafferwill retire after 31 years of service to Kansas State 1xbet online sports betting . She began her time in the Division of Financial Services as an accountant in charge of the cashier's subsection, witnessing many changes over the years from setting up 20-plus cashiers to collect student fee payment in Ahearn Field House, to fee payment by mail and now online fee payment. For the past 18 years she has worked part-time for the Center for Hazardous Substance Research in the College of Engineering.
