EPA senior research engineer to present annual Kling L. Anderson Lecture

Brian Gullett, senior research engineer with the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development, will present the 2018 Kling L. Anderson Lecture.
Gullett will present "What is that smoke? Characterizing emissions from prescribed burns in the Flint Hills Region" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, in 1018 Throckmorton Plant Sciences Center.
Gullett is ascientific and technical professional, ST level, andhas served as an embassy science fellow with the Department of State in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been a visiting scientist for one year with U.S. Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Currently, he is the acting division director for the Air and Energy Management Division. He has been affiliated with the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program since 2005 as a scientific and technical committee member, principal investigator and the EPA's Executive Working Group representative. He is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed journal articles, holds four U.S. patents, and has received more than 20 EPA Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards.
Gullett has a doctorate in environmental engineering and a master's in engineering management both from Duke 1xbet sports betting .
