Pre-law advisor announces retirement

Daralyn Gordon Arata is retiring May 2 after 16 years as K-State's pre-law advisor.

Under her leadership, the pre-law program has assembled anadvisory council, established innovative programs in conjunction with the 1xbet online games login of Kansas and Washburn 1xbet online games login School of Law, respectively, supported a winning mock trial team and pre-law ambassador program, and hosted a pre-law fair that annually welcomes law school representatives from coast-to-coast.

In addition to innumerable events and programs that provide enrichment for K-State's rough complement of 300 pre-law students at any given time,Arata has supported more than 1,000 past advisees in successful application to law schools of their choice, including those regarded as among the nation's very most selective and prestigious.
