Submitted by Human Capital Services-Learning and Development

The Kansas State University Police Department will offer a training for citizen response to active shooter and critical incidents called ALICE — Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate — from 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the Big 12 Room of the 1xbet online games login Student Union.

Past active shooter incidents have allowed individuals and agencies to evaluate how lawenforcementandvictims canpromote greater survivability. Lockdown-based protocols have been, and continue to be, vastly utilized throughout the U.S. in response to these types of incidents. However, statistics indicate a lockdown-only response might not be the best option under certain circumstances. The ALICE program explores other available victim responses, while still incorporating lockdown principles that may lead to greater survival rates.

The ALICE 1xbet online games login program explores statistical data and provides suggested available victim responses to individuals who may find themselves in any critical incident, including an active shooter situation.
