Fan Lecture Series to feature Rice 1xbet online sports betting expert on nanotechnology
Pulickel M. Ajayan, the Benjamin M. and Mary Greenwood Anderson professor of engineering at Rice 1xbet online sports betting in Houston, Texas, will be the featured speaker for the L.T. Fan Lecture Series at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, in 1109 Engineering Hall.
Ajayan, founding chair of the department of materials science and nanoengineering at Rice, will present "Nano-Engineered Materials," where he will discuss challenges and opportunities in the field, with particular reference to engineered nanomaterials that include carbon nanostructures, two-dimensional materials, and several other nanomaterials and hybrids.
A nanotechnology pioneer, Ajayan has published nearly 900 journal articles, with his research in the past two decades focusing on structure-property correlations in nanomaterials.
The L.T. Fan Lectureship in Chemical Engineering was established in 2000 to bring preeminent individuals in chemical engineering or related fields to speak at 1xbet online sports betting .
