New website for Urban Water Institute now accessible

The institute brings together industry, researchers, policy makers, advocates and educators to identify and develop solutions for complex cross-disciplinary and cross-boundary concerns related to urban water sustainability. The institute facilitates industry- and agency-identified research, development and implementation of water-related projects by engaging teams of practitioners, researchers, educators and students across Kansas and the four-state region.
At a recent K-12 outreach event hosted by the institute, several Water Investigation Lab Day: Citizen Awareness Teams, or WILD-CATs, consisting of fourth- through sixth graders from the Shawnee Mission School District, investigated water quality in the 1xbet sports betting Olathe campus pond. Several high school students and adult volunteers including 1xbet sports betting alums served as mentors to the student teams. The event was co-sponsored by One Health Kansas.
