Susan Edgerley, a former metro and assistant managing 1xbet sports betting at The New York Times, will be a professional-in-residence with the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications and the Division of Marketing and Communications at Kansas State University during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Edgerley graduated from K-State in 1976 with a double major in English and journalism and secondary school teacher certification.

"K-State prepared me well for my career, and I am excited to be part of the Miller School and to help prepare students for 21st-century careers," Edgerley said.
