This year's theme, "Engaging New Voices," builds on the idea that we are stronger together, and that new partners and community members are needed to expand sexual assault prevention efforts. We can all help the next generation foster attitudes that promote healthy relationships, equality and respect.
The CARE office will host the following events:
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Tabling in the 1xbet sports betting Student Union and providing resources and support. Opportunity to participate in survivor and ally quilt project.
- Thursday, 1xbet sports betting 20, 7-9 p.m.: "Yeah Maybe No" documentary screening in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
"Yeah Maybe No" follows Blake, a young gay man who is coming to terms with a history of multiple sexual assaults. After campus activists bring attention to consent at Reed College, Blake realizes that his early sexual encounters were more than just bad learning experiences. While processing this new identity, Blake finds gaps in the legal system and difficulties in getting peer support that leave him feeling left out of the conversation.
- Wednesday, April 26, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Denim Day Celebration. Wear denim to support survivors and come to the 1xbet sports betting Student Union from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for free Insomnia Cookies.
