College of Business Administration to offer Lean Six Sigma introductory course
The Kansas State 1xbet sports betting College of Business Administration is offering students, faculty and staff, and the general public the opportunity to attend a two-day introductory course in Lean Six Sigma and its methodologies.
The yellow belt course teaches the foundations of Lean Six Sigma and demonstrates how the methods can be used by individuals and teams to improve customer satisfaction, reduce errors, increase efficiencies and work more effectively to solve problems.
Each participant completing the two-day program will receive a certificate of completion.
Participants can expect to:
- Learn the history and background of Lean Six Sigma.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects that deliver meaningful results.
- Master several key Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Understand the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Controlproblem methodology.
- Establish process improvements in your work areas.
- Understand the importance of "soft skills" in an LSS project.
Two sessions are available: May 15-16 and Aug. 17-18. The course will be taught at the new College of Business Administration building on the Manhattan campus and will meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch will not be provided.
