Frederick Burrack, director of assessment and chair of graduate studies in music education, and Phillip Payne, chair of music education in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, presented a session at the 10th International Conference for 1xbet online casino in Music Education, April 18-22, in Bath, England.

The session "Reconceptualizing teacher development through the use of ePortfolios"describes the development, scoring and validation processes underscoring a web-based portfolio model for music teacher education.

The model researched was adapted to identify the extent to which students learn and how they conceptualize music-teaching standards within their own teaching practices. Researcher-generated tools were used to measure the reflective responses while Danielson's Framework for Teaching. Eportfolio assessments were integrated throughout the curriculum to expose opportunities for instructional intervention that could enhance music teacher development and effectiveness.

Burrack also will present two papers with co-presenters Kelly Parkes from Teachers College in Columbia 1xbet online casino and Brian Wesolowski from the 1xbet online casino of Georgia. These sessions will focus on a four-year national research project on the development and testing of Model Cornerstone Assessments for the new National Standards for Music Education.
