Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity hosts symposium on global agricultural industry
The Alpha Zeta chapter of the Alpha Gamma Rho, or AGR, fraternity will present its third edition of the Alpha Gamma Rho Agriculture Symposium at 3 p.m. Feb. 24 in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
This year's symposium topic, "Consolidation, Trade and the Changing Landscape of Global Agriculture," aims to bring in a variety of interested parties not only in the agriculture sector, but the greater 1xbet online sports betting community.
This year's panel of speakers include:
- Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau professor of agricultural law and taxation, Washburn 1xbet online sports betting School of Law.
- Shane Masters, investment origination and development, AGR Partners.
- John Niemann, president, Cargill Protein Ingredients and International.
- Bob Young, chief economist and deputy executive director, American Farm Bureau Federation.
This year's master of ceremonies will be Renée Laird, founder and president of Tallgrass International. The event is free and open to the public.
