John Briggs, professor of biology and director of the Konza Prairie Biological Station, will give a public lecture at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, 1xbet online games login . 9, in 328 Waters Hall. Briggs will present some of the threats causing large-scale transformation of tallgrass prairie grasslands to savanna-like ecosystems.
This talk is being presented for students participating in the capstone course of the natural resources and environmental science, or NRES, secondary major and is open to the general public as part of the NRES Seminar Series. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend.
